Healing Origins: Self Care and Inner Transformation

It is time for change. Our gun laws need to be substantively altered forever at a constitutional level. Yes, the right to bear arms seems necessary in a free democracy but the weapons used in this tragedy must be banned. No rapid fire guns no assault weapons. Registration and waiting periods of wks not days. Please like no other time before may we come together and NEVER ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN AGAIN! Tears are not enough. The Grace of God is not enough. We have to act as a modern citizenry WE MUST ACT. Against the madness and against the gun lobby NOW. Let cool minds and open hearts change this legacy of violence forever.

As a woman I urge all woman to vote for Obama—- he will keep our rights over our own bodies and not take us back to the 50′s . Energetically  he is the man for the job!

That other guy, lies and changes his mind like some people change their underwear…….daily.

Can’t trust him and his running mate is as bad as Palin. Both are souless !
Anyone who thinks Obama hasn’t done anything is NOT PAYING ATTENTION.

And Remember folks he came in with a HUGE mess that Bush and others like him have left behind since the 1980′s.

Think about it.  Do you want to retain rights over your bodies! Do you want to have equity?  If so then the vote is simple!

In 1991, I devised a way to work directly with the body’s energy and organs to release these imprinted memories from the places where they have been hiding. This is what I can offer you, a way to work directly with the imprinted memories and emotions that are within you.

As a woman when you are intimate with a man you take him into your body, this leaves an imprint and an energy signature upon your womb, and sexual organs. His energy stays with you.

When you loss a baby through miscarriage or if you have had an abortion the energy stays with you in much the same way as a man’s energy stays with you.

This energy, vital force or chi seeps into your cells and settles there. If the relationship or pregnancy ends— you are left with the remnants of that experience as energy imprinted within you. Each intimate relationship you have takes up space within your womb, and energy body.

Likewise miscarriages and abortions have a similar effect, energy imprints are left behind. These imprints are like tiny scares. These events may not only leave you with emotional scars but with emotional residual energy that can deeply affect your ability to conceive.

I saw this first-hand 26 yrs ago, when I was working with a woman who had just miscarried. As she lay on the table images of old loves and embattled relationships began to surface in her mind’s eye. Deep grief and pain welled up as she revisited her painful past.

As this was occurring, energy from her womb streamed out of her body. As she cried tears for the losses and pain from her life, her energy began to release and clear.

This was the first time in someone other than myself that I saw and felt the power of how our past is imprinted within our body and mind. She had never thought twice about the wounds to her womb and yet here they were.

And yet it was so important to clear and resolve these hidden emotions in order to begin the healing process.

She walked away from that session struck by the difference in her body and mind, and how while disquieting at first her experience was, she left feeling lighter, as if, a burden had been lifted from her.

Loss is felt in your womb, in this lower energy center often referred to in Buddhist traditions as your second heart. It is also the place in your body that corresponds with your 2nd chakra, an area regarded as the seat of your emotions and relationships. So, in order to conceive, this area must be clear and ready to receive new life.

Because once these imprints are made they stay with you. They arise again and again until they are released once and for all. This emotional pain can keep you from conceiving. Your womb is too full energetically for anything else.

There is a great need to release your past relationships, pain, sorrows and miscarriages. Anything that has impacted you deeply must be released from within your womb. You need to revisit your past to heal your present of this I am sure and I know in my heart that this will enable you to make a start fresh. Free from the pain and suffering your womb and heart have held.

There is a simple and direct practice which can help you begin the clearing process. It can help you clear the way for deep and lasting healing of your womb enabling you to energetically make space for the baby you long for.

The child you long for will be drawn into that clear space and allowed to make a fresh unencumbered start in this world.

I was recently at an event as a participant  being introduced to the 21 praises of Tara dance and meditation practice. I have long been a closet dancer and when in Hawaii I studies a bit of hula. Dance calls to me and it was a lovely day of women dancing and sending up praises to the 21 manifestations of Tara, the goddess that is the primordial mother of us all in Tibetan Buddhism.

As we were all talking about the goddess,  one woman chimed in about 2012 and that this was the time of the return of the goddess and how woman were going to be on the front lines and taking the lead, finally.

While this may be true it rang a bit short for me. As I remember, literally, when woman were the vanguard and leading spiritually.  It came into my attention that what is happening now with 2012  is a marriage of the two energies within and without us.

We have a great opportunity of blending and marrying these two energies of the female and male within ourselves and to think of the male as an ally and friend.  It is time for the woman to share their vast knowledge and heart of a time long past and to share with their men the beginnings and how to connect spirit and matter.

That we can love and converse with and come into communion with and be creative together,  as we mark the end of the era of division and discord, is key. This is the gift of this time that where we have seen such divisions.

Woman hold some vital keys. This planet is our home and we connect to her each time we bleed and connect with the moon.  Men do not have this ability, so it is incumbent upon us to share  how we connect to this planet, Gaia who we love. Men long for this connection as they reach towards the heavens, we reach for the earth and it is here that marriage of spirit and matter can coalesce.  They teach us how to reach out and we teach them how to drop in and connect.

So here is too 2012 and the marriage and re-balancing of the inner female and male in all of us. And to the marriage of the the earth and heaven that can take place within us all.

I had a friend ask recently about the fallout from Japan and how it would affect CA. She has just had a baby and was concerned as any new mom would be. Here are my initial hits.

We are living in an age where there has been radiation around us for some time. My feeling about Japan is that it is making CA a bit like Santa Fe NM to a lesser degree. I have not been picking up any energy shifts or spikes but the energy this spring has been intense.

Humans are always evolving. I believe with the plutonium energy, is also an energy that transforms.  It amplifies and intensifies the energy around us. I know that may sound weird but it was always the way Santa Fe felt and nuclear testing there was much closer .

It is so much about belief and if you let the collective alter our reality about our own safety and well being.

Fear is still a demon that the world is facing right now. As we move ahead we all must hold a vision that is clear, so ask yourself what do you want you world to reflect?

Freedom is another energy that is really alive in the world right now. And  my hope is that this nuclear disaster will help us shape a energy policy that will create viable alternative more quickly.

Energy wise though I do feel we are safe. I have never been a pollyanna person or a gloom and doom person, more a reality chick. Clear and present wisdom……. That is the key.

Be prepared, stay aware and change any negative fears and anxieties into positive beliefs. .

I do feel that there are certain astrological aspects that may be affecting the middle east and asian regions that are shaking things up—quiet literally, these aspect have been moving for some time now. We see it on the news each day.

The world is changing and I know with a little one it is a bit frightening, but that little shining being, like yourself choose to incarnate now and may have something valuable to add to the equation.

Be hopeful and awake. Stay engaged and help shape energy and nuclear policy for your future Use this as an opportunity to reshape the world for your child.

What the Mayan Elders are Saying About 2012 by Carlos Barrios

Carlos Barrios, Mayan elder and Ajq’ij (is a ceremonial priest and spiritual guide) of the Eagle Clan. Carlos initiated an investigation into the different Mayan calendars circulating. Carlos along with his brother Gerardo studied with many teachers and interviewed nearly 600 traditional Mayan elders to widen their scope of knowledge. Carlos found out quickly there were several conflicting interpretations of Mayan hieroglyphs, petroglyphs, Sacred Books of ‘Chilam Balam’ and various ancient text. Carlos found some strong words for those who may have contributed to the confusion: Carlos Barrios: “Anthropologists visit the temple sites and read the inscriptions and make up stories about the Maya, but they do not read the signs correctly. It’s just their imagination. Other People write about prophecy in the name of the Maya. They say that the world will end in December 2012. The Mayan elders are angry with this. The world will not end. It will be transformed.”
“We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun, but we are not yet in the World of the Fifth Sun. This is the time in-between, the time of transition. As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos, war, and ongoing Earth Changes.”He continues: “Humanity will continue, but in a different way. Material structures will change. From this we will have the opportunity to be more human. We are living in the most important era of the Mayan calendars and prophecies. All the prophecies of the world, all the traditions are converging now.There is no time for games. The spiritual ideal of this era is action.”

Carlos tells us: “The indigenous have the calendars and know how to accurately interpret it — not others. The Mayan
Calendars comprehension of time, seasons, and cycles has proven itself to be vast and sophisticated. The Maya
understand 17 different calendars such as the Tzolk’in or Cholq’ij, some of them charting time accurately over a span of
more than ten million years. “All was predicted by the mathematical cycles of the Mayan calendars. — It will change –everything will change. Mayan Daykeepers view the Dec. 21, 2012 date as a rebirth, the start of the World of the Fifth Sun. It will be the start of a new era resulting from and signified by the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator and the Earth aligning itself with the center of the galaxy.”

At sunrise on December 21, 2012 for the first time in 26,000 years the Sun rises to conjunct the intersection of the Milky
Way and the plane of the ecliptic. This cosmic cross is considered to be an embodiment of the Sacred Tree, The Tree
of Life, a tree remembered in all the world’s spiritual traditions. Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy
in 2012 will open a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the Earth, cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a
higher level of vibration. Carlos reminds us: “This process has already begun. Change is accelerating now and it will continue
to accelerate.

If the people of the Earth can get to this 2012 date in good shape without having destroyed too much of the Earth, we will rise to a new, higher level. But to get there we must transform enormously powerful forces that seek to block the way.”
The date specified in the calendar Winter Solstice in the year 2012 does not mark the end of the world. Many outside people
writing about the Mayan calendar sensationalize this date, but they do not know. The ones who know are the indigenous
elders who are entrusted with keeping the tradition. Carlos tells us: “The economy now is a fiction. The first five year
stretch of transition from August 1987 to August 1992 was the beginning of the destruction of the material world. We have
progressed ten years deeper into the transition phase by now, and many of the so-called sources of financial stability are in
fact hollow. The banks are weak. This is a delicate moment for them. They could crash globally, if we don’t pay attention. Now,
people are paying attention.”
The North and South Poles are both breaking up. The level ofthe water in the oceans is going to rise. But at the same time
land in the  ocean, especially near Cuba, is also going to rise. Carlos tells a story about the most recent Mayan New Year
ceremonies in Guatemala. He said that one respected Mam elder, who lives all year in a solitary mountain cave, journeyed
to Chichicastenango to speak with the people at the ceremony. The elder delivered a simple, direct message. He called for
human beings to come together in support of life and light.”Right now each person and group is going his or her own way.
The elder of the mountains said there is hope if the people of the light can come together and unite in some way. We live in a
world of polarity — day and night, man and woman, positive and negative. Light and darkness need each other. They are a
balance.”

“Just now the dark side is very strong, and very clear about what they want. They have their vision and their priorities clearly held, and also their hierarchy. They are working in many ways so that we will be unable to connect with the spiral Fifth World in 2012.”"On the light side everyone thinks they are the most important, that their own understandings, or their group’s understandings, are the key. There’s a diversity of cultures and opinions, so there is competition, diffusion, and no single focus.”
Carlos believes the dark side works to block unity through denial and materialism. It also works to destroy those who are
working with the light to get the Earth to a higher level. They like the energy of the old, declining Fourth World, the
materialism. They do not want it to change. They do not want unity. They want to stay at this level, and are afraid of the next
level.The dark power of the declining Fourth World cannot be destroyed or overpowered. It’s too strong and clear for that, and
that is the wrong strategy. The dark can only be transformed when confronted with simplicity and open-heartedness. This is
what leads to unity, a key concept for the World of the Fifth Sun. Carlos said the emerging era of the Fifth Sun will call attention
to a much-overlooked element. Whereas the four traditional elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water have dominated various
epochs in the past, there will be a fifth element to reckon with in the time of the Fifth Sun — that element is ‘ETHER’.

The dictionary defines Ether as a “hypothetical substance supposed to occupy all space, postulated to account for the
propagation of electromagnetic radiation through space.” Perhaps it could be defined as the “space between space”. I
would suggest it could be manifest as the alignment of charged particles from our solar system (Sun), and our galaxy (Milky
Way) surge. The Ether element represents spiritual energy. “The element of the Fifth Sun is celestial. Within the context of
Ether there can be a joining of the polarities. No more darkness or light in the people, but an uplifted unity. But right now the
realm of darkness is not interested in this. They are organized to block it. They seek to unbalance the Earth and its
environment so we will be unready for the alignment in 2012.” “We need to work together for peace, and balance with the
other side. We need to take care of the Earth that feeds and shelters us. We need to put our entire mind and heart into
pursuing unity and unity now, to confront the other side and preserve life.”
“We are disturbed — we can’t play anymore. Our planet can be renewed or ravaged. Now is the time to awaken and take action. Everyone is needed. You are not here for no reason. Everyone who is here now has an important purpose. This is a hard but a special time. We have the opportunity for growth, but we must be ready for this moment in history.” Carlos says: “The prophesied changes are going to happen, but our attitude and actions determine how harsh or mild they are. We need to act, to make changes, and to elect people to represent us who understand and who will take political action
to respect the Earth.”

“Meditation and spiritual practice are good, but also action. It’s very important to be clear about who you are, and also about
your relation to the Earth. Develop yourself according to your own tradition and the call of your heart. But remember to
respect differences, and strive for unity. Eat wisely — a lot of food is corrupt in either subtle or gross ways. Pay attention to
what you are taking into your body. Learn to preserve food, and to conserve energy. Learn some good breathing techniques, so
you have mastery of your breath. Be clear. Follow a tradition with great roots. It is not important what tradition, your heart
will tell you, but it must have great roots.” “We live in a world of energy. An important task at this time is
to learn to sense or see the energy of everyone and everything — people, plants, animals.

This becomes increasingly important as we draw close to the World of the Fifth Sun, for it is associated with the element ‘ether’ — the realm where energy lives and weaves. Go to the sacred places of the Earth to pray for peace, and have respect for the Earth which gives us our food, clothing, and shelter. We need to reactivate the energy of these sacred places. That is our work.”
“One simple but effective prayer technique is to light white or baby-blue colored candles. Think of a moment in peace. Speak

your intention to the flame and send the light of it on to the leaders who have the power to make war or peace.” Carlos reminds us this is a crucially important moment for humanity and for Earth. Each person is important.
He said the elders have opened the doors so that other races can come to the Mayan world to receive the tradition. “The Maya
have long appreciated and respected that there are other colors, other races, and other spiritual systems. They know that
the destiny of the Mayan world is related to the destiny of the whole world.”"The greatest wisdom is in simplicity. Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It’s not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It’s encoded in your DNA.

All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way.”

I was talking to my students this past wk end about this Iron Tiger year that we have been in and how this has been affecting us energetically. Here is what I have noticed.

Years ago I had the chance to interact with tiger cubs and a big female white tiger at Albuquerque zoo. Tigers are known to live much of their lives alone, except to mate.   The energy f these great cats is one of energy of isolation, patience and fierceness. These qualities have been a part of the energy dynamic this past year and we have seen it in action. Many of you may have felt isolated this past year. But there I good news!

On Feb 3 rd, Chinese New Year rings in and the year of the Iron Rabbit begins. Rabbits live in warrens are more social than tigers. My hope is that based on this energy change  we will have a year of more cooperation and consensus.

Isolation is necessary to discern who we are and what is important to us. We need that quiet self- reflection. But we are a human family and we need to also step back into relationship to someone other than ourselves.

I hope this new year reawakens our sense of community as we move out of isolation. Let us find common ground again. Cooperation is key, with this, we can get things done and moving forward again. The energy is posed to help us do this.

The element iron is about grief and sorrow, as well as, being a weapon of war. As we move thru this iron cycle over the next 8 years we are encouraged to process our grief and examine the martial nature within our society and within ourselves. Letting go of our wounds and finding peace within ourselves will reflect back into society, of which we are a part.

Let’s find our community this coming year—- like minded people who love and support us. My wish is for each of you is to discovery your larger human family and your place in it.

My husband and I have been reading  a set of  books by Marion Zimmer Bradley, which feature the goddess and the ancient ways of the goddess. As I gazed at the full moon lunar eclipse that happened on the solstice this came to mind. First, I reflected on the fact that an eclipse like this had not happening in 372 years ago. It was remarkable to think back to how our ancestors might have felt seeing an eclipse like this one. And also to rteflect on how the world has changed over the centuries.

Personally as the moon went dark on the first day of the return of the light, I felt that the goddess was also returning, not in the old ways, but that she was reintegrating for the first time in centuries with the solar force of the sun.

This marriage is both powerful and necessary as we balance the forces of the sun and moon, the masculine and feminine , the anima and the animus within ourselves.

This is a a time of reintegration and renewal.

Use this time wisely, vision and dream of wholeness, both personally and collectively. Send out light to those you love and to those who challenge you. Salute them all for they are your teachers !

Pluto is sitting right with mercury til the winter solstice—–so intensity will be a watch word for this mercury retrograde.

I know that many of you have been drinking bottled and vended water perhaps from a long time. Did you know that bottled water has no more regulations that tap water and that many of the bottled waters  are tap water that has been but thru a reverse osmosis system and stripped of the vital minerals that water conveys into our cells directly thru cellular osmosis?

I really think this is linked to the higher incidence of osteoporosis that we have been seeing recently, since we are not getting our minerals from the water when we drink bottles water.
