Living with Pluto Square Saturn

Living with Pluto and Saturn square is not easy. Having it in my natal chart and at strong angles I can tell you firsthand, it is a challenging aspect to live with. These two energies as planets are about death, transformation the unconscious and revolution.

What we all need to remember this year, as this transit is alive in all our lives—- is to breath.  And even though events in the news may be fearful as the markets go up like a yo-yo and housing pricing dive like a surfer under a towering wave, we have to remember that we are in a revolution of spirit within the marketplace. We are moving to new uncharted ground and always when we are in these transitions anxiety will surface. This is natural, especially when the structures we have relied on and believed in falter.

Pluto in Capricorn brings the energy of transformation to the business and governmental sectors of our world. And as Pluto strips these foundations down to their bones fear is rampant. The old guard and ways of being and people stuck in these old structures panic and kick and scream. They don’t want to change and yet change is mandatory when Pluto is involved.

It is not an easy rebirth especially for those in power, who what the status quo to stay the same and be maintained. So as hard as it is, we have to not know and be okay with that. Let your frustrations go, and trust that the way will clear and we will be free to walk into the future humbled perhaps but empowered in the end.

As Pluto moves through Capricorn over the next decade the groundwork for a new government will be laid. It is out of the ashes like a Phoenix rising that we will be reborn.

Saturn will move on, later this summer and until then, know that Saturn as a wisdom energy is teaching us to slow down to be responsible and accountable. These are all good things even thought we may not like them Again it allows or empowerment to come into each of our lives.

So here’s to a collective deep breath and a counting to ten as we move into a summer of challenge and growth. Be kind yet fierce and loving to yourself and all those you met.

Hot Flash Relief

Energy healing and hot flashes how to reverse the flow and find relief

When you have a hot flash, what do you usually do, well if you are alone you tear off whatever layer of clothes you are wearing off as fast as you can. Right? Then you cool down and on goes the shirt again. What I have been playing with is an energy practice that can redirect the flow and allow for your hot flashes to dissipate.

Here is what I have noticed, heat rises we all know that, and when it does, your face and body flush with the release of that heat. But what I have been working with myself and my clients is to use the mind to shift the energy and instead of having it flash up and out the top of your head as it normally does, you can imagine that it rushes up and then, here’s the twist, see if flow back down again.

Just see the energy become like a fountain of cool water washing over your head and neck, down your shoulders, arms, chest, pelvis and legs and back into the earth. This will cool the energy and it will also ground the energy and connect you to the earth again.

This is important because when we stop bleeding the natural flow of energy moving down and out of our bodies is reversed.

I suspect that that is why woman are stricken by more heart symptoms after menopause. The energy rises up and floods the heart and the heart is overwhelmed by this new amount of energy that is often unfamiliar. So the heart flutters and you experience palpitations and a rapid heart beat from the excess energy.

So if we can begin to imagine the energy flowing down again and see it flowing back down your body and into the earth this can help regulate the abundance of energy you feel as it rises with each hot flash.

PS One other thing I have found is that mint tea is a great remedy. It is very cooling and soothing to an oftentimes raw nervous system.

What to Do When You Are So Exhausted !

Regain vitality, momentum, joy and fire in your belly!

Why do an energy meditation when you have no energy? I know you are thinking, “I’m just too exhausted to concentrate” and at the same time another part of you is may be thinking, “Wow, maybe this will work”, and I can start doing more of the things I love.

Exhaustion can be so debilitating, you feel too tired to play with your kids, tackle work projects or even take care of yourself. It’s just too much, too overwhelming to even think about!

But don’t you want to take back your life and be free of the weight and oppression of the exhaustion you are feeling and have energy that is vital, joyous and expansive, like when you were are our best in the past or when you were a child perhaps?

How would it feel to have that kind of unlimited energy again? How would it be to feel it all the way down to your bones?

I created a meditation for women just like you, who are deflated by exhaustion. They are just too tired to do anything some days, because of physical symptoms, emotional concerns, family and work pressures. They are exhausted mentally, emotionally and physically. But there is hope.

What I have learned for myself is that it really helps to understand the inherent energy of the emotion you are feeling. What this means is you have to let yourself—– feel what you are feeling. It’s not always pleasant but this is a first step.

Personally what I have noticed it that exhaustion feels heavy, like a weight, as if someone has draped a wet blanket over me. You know the feeling. Right?

You just feel weighted down by the exhaustion. It’s overwhelming and oppressive. You feel trapped by this heaviness and just can’t get moving or excited about anything. You are just too tired to think or even move.

What I have found in working with others and within myself is that it is necessary to work through the layers of the exhaustion that you are feeling, to deeply relax and give into the exhaustion- without hesitation or fear, in order to move beyond it. I know this may sound scary, who wants to feel something they don’t like, right? But if you feel the exhaustion and release it from the cells, bones and tissues within your body, your energy can then return. I have seen this again and again.

So what I have done to help you and others like you is to create a meditation/ visualization exercise you can do at home on your own. Many of my clients have used this and have experienced dramatic change. Their energy has returned and they have told me they feel lighter and less burdened as a result.

How would that feel, pretty good, huh? Exhaustion is such a part of so many of our lives and with the economy being so challenging many of you are working harder than ever before. I know I am. 1. Find a quiet undisturbed place where you can sit or lie down for 10 -15-mins.without interruptions (some of my clients say they do this visualization in the bath)

2. Breathe deep into your belly and allow your body to relax. Allow the breath to flow from your chest into your belly and breath easily and effortlessly like a baby breathes.

3. Allow your thoughts to be like clouds in the sky—juts floating by, no need to grab onto them or follow them just let them go.

4. Finally, be curious with no judgments please. Whatever arises is important for you to release so if thoughts, emotions or memories arise let them, just be curious—- without any preconceived judgments or notions.

I know this meditation/visualization will help you. It helped me and has helped my clients ever sense I first channeled the process many years ago. Just know you don’t have to live with feeling tired any more. This simple direct practice will reinvigorate and revitalize you. You will have energy again. You can take back control of you life and feel better now.

Many of you have been through the pain of loss; I know how devastating that can feel. It tears you apart. Your very soul is shaken to your core and you unable to breath. The loss is so huge you don’t think you will survive.

As a means of surviving, you pull yourself together and move on, thinking these emotions have gone away when in reality they have been suppressed- and without resolution they will only return often when you least expect it.

What I have seen in my decades of working in the field of healing is that these intense emotions, stay with you.

I have discovered that these emotions and traumatic experiences imprint themselves upon your very body. The grief, shock, pain and sorrow live within your bones, cells, tissues, energy body and organs. But there is hope.

In 1991, I devised a way to work directly with the body’s energy and organs to release these imprinted memories from the places where they have been hiding. This is what I can offer you, a way to work directly with the imprinted memories and emotions that are within you.

As a woman when you are intimate with a man you take him into your body, this leaves an imprint and an energy signature upon your womb, and sexual organs. His energy stays with you.

When you loss a baby through miscarriage or if you have had an abortion the energy stays with you in much the same way as a man’s energy stays with you.

This energy, vital force or chi seeps into your cells and settles there. If the relationship or pregnancy ends- you are left with the remnants of that experience as energy imprinted within you. Each intimate relationship you have takes up space within your womb, and energy body.

Likewise miscarriages and abortions have a similar effect, energy imprints are left behind. These imprints are like tiny scares. These events may not only leave you with emotional scars but with emotional residual energy that can deeply affect your ability to conceive.

I saw this first-hand 26 years ago, when I was working with a woman who had just miscarried. As she lay on the table images of old loves and embattled relationships began to surface in her mind’s eye. Deep grief and pain welled up as she revisited her painful past.

As this was occurring, energy from her womb streamed out of her body. As she cried tears for the losses and pain from her life, her energy began to release and clear.

This was the first time in someone other than myself that I saw and felt the power of how our past is imprinted within our body and mind. She had never thought twice about the wounds to her womb and yet here they were.

And yet it was so important to clear and resolve these hidden emotions in order to begin the healing process.

She walked away from that session struck by the difference in her body and mind, and how while disquieting at first her experience was, she left feeling lighter, as if, a burden had been lifted from her.

Loss is felt in your womb, in this lower energy center often referred to in Buddhist traditions as your second heart. It is also the place in your body that corresponds with your 2nd chakra, an area regarded as the seat of your emotions and relationships. So, in order to conceive, this area must be clear and ready to receive new life.

Because once these imprints are made they stay with you. They arise again and again until they are released once and for all. This emotional pain can keep you from conceiving. Your womb is too full energetically for anything else.

There is a great need to release your past relationships, pain, sorrows and miscarriages. Anything that has impacted you deeply must be released from within your womb. You need to revisit your past to heal your present of this I am sure and I know in my heart that this will enable you to make a start fresh. Free from the pain and suffering your womb and heart have held.

There is a simple and direct practice that can help you begin the clearing process. It can help you clear the way for deep and lasting healing of your womb enabling you to energetically make space for the baby you long for.

The child you long for will be drawn to that clear space and allowed to make a fresh unencumbered start in this world.

Why does he pull away, I just want to talk.

An unlikely solution . Discover a technique that will help when you are communicating with your spouse or partner.

You know how when you are communicating with a partner, spouse or lover and it can sometimes feel like a tango, full of approach and avoidance?

You really want to talk with your beloved, you have something vital to say and you feel a lot of energy surrounding what you want to share with them. You all know the feeling, right? So, you find the perfect time to talk and you approach your partner and the dance begins.

You start the conversation and all of a sudden you feel him energetically back away and you wonder, why is he backing away why does the man I love, who loves and cares for me creating this distance between us? We all take this distancing to heart and feel hurt when in reality your partner is just maintaining his energetic comfort zone.

Think of it this way. Have you ever been in a line at the grocery store or bank and felt someone come up behind you, just a little bit too close for comfort. Or have you been in conversation, with someone new perhaps, who just comes in too close, who feels “in your face.”

What do you want to so when this happens? Me, I want to step back and re-establish a boundary between us, so I have my personal space back. This is fine but if you are frustrated within your relationship, because your spouse, partner or friend seems to be creating distance instead of intimacy, Here’s energy practice to try.

Instead of moving in or stepping forward to close that gap you feel between you-step back. That’s right, step back. I know, this sounds all wrong, even counter-intuitive, because you want to be closer, you want to get your point across or to share something really important with this person you are talking to.

You want to lean in. I know I’ve felt this way too but trust me, just try it, step back and see what happens. By stepping back you are increasing the energy and spatial distance between the two of you and the other person will sense this. They may even feel you are pulling away.

Sensing this, they will often step forward to maintain the customary energy field between you. They will come to you. And this is where the conversation can begin.

I have an image that might help you. Imagine that your two hands are people in a conversation. Place your hands at shoulder width apart about 10 inches, now move your right hand in 2 inches. What happens? The distance between your hands goes from 10 to 8 inches.

To maintain the same distance between your hands your left hand has to move back 2 inches, right? And each time your right hand moves forward 2 inches your left hand has to move back to maintain the 10 inches between you.

But what if you moved your right hand back 2 inches from the start? Instead of moving in, you step back, you create more space. Then right away your left hand has to move toward your right hand to keep the 10-inch distance between you.

Instead of feeling like distance is being created you experience the person you love coming towards you instead of going away or drawing back. There is power in holding your own space and respecting your partner’s energy field as well.

When I shared this exercise with a client, who had been married for nearly 20 years, she marveled at its simplicity. She called the next day and said when she tried it with her husband that night it was like talking to a new man.

She was amazed that he was so receptive. She shared that conversations had been fraught with difficulties for years and now everything was different. She felt more at ease too because she didn’t feel he was trying to avoid her. And she didn’t feel like she was doing all the work in the relationship. She felt happy, heard and connected again to the man she loved.

Try this simple yet affect exercise and see how the dynamics of your conversations with your loved ones and friends changes. Each client over the last ten years, that I have shared this with has been amazed at how different their conversations became. They experienced ease, openness and relaxation and felt less lonely, hurt, frustrated and anger as their partners began to waltz with them in conversation.

Help when you are stressed out

Simple and quick meditation to help you when you are tearing your hair out and way to stressed out!.

Are you feeling stressed and overworked, at the computer too long?  Try this and change your energy in as little as 10 minutes.

Focus your attention on your breathing. If you are like me and most of us who work on computers or at a desk, you are probably not breathing very deeply. Right? This happens when you are focused and working at the computer all the time.

So, I want you to pay attention to your breath.  Just breathe in and out for a few cycles, easily and effortlessly in and out, like a baby, not changing anything, just experience breathing as fully as you can.

Now, take a deep breath and as you exhale, let go of any physical tension from your body. Just feel the tensions drop away like ice sheets off a glacier. Take a second deep breath and this time as you exhale let go of any emotional tension or cares from your day. Leave all your worries behind for the next few minutes.

Now I want you breathe in and feel your breath fill your belly. Feel your belly rise and fall as your breath flows in and out of your body.  Breathe deeply into your belly, just like this, in and out.

Just let yourself relax and breathe, nothing to do—just breathing and being breathed for the next 5 minutes.

Breath is the simplest way to bring us back to our center. It is always with us. By breathing with awareness the energy within you and around you can settle. Your energy will change, you will feel a sense of space and openness and your mind will settle after a few minutes of breathing this way.

Try this whenever you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed out. It will help stabilize your emotions, and mind. Know that with each exhale you are releasing the tensions and the stress you have been feeling in your body and mind.

We are alive with memory. It flows in our cells, bones, tissues and consciousness. The last frontier is inner space and it is within us where our answers lie. Our symptoms and emotions are the body and mind’s way of getting our attention and they provide us with a way into the richness our inner world.

Using our powers of intuition, visualization and deep inquiry and by contacting our innate inner wisdom we can find healing. We need only take the leap into our body and chakras, symptoms and emotions to find the memories, patterns and beliefs that hold our memories in place and limit us. Our chakras are centers for contacting and tapping into these memories, emotions and beliefs that lie dormant within us and are a wellspring of information and energy.

Memories and emotions are imprinted in our chakras, cells, organs and bones, quietly waiting. Waiting for us to be courageous enough to face the origins of our confusion, grief, anger, fear, phobias, doubt and suffering. When we engage our body memory and consciousness directly, we can emerge from this journey, with the keys to releasing our symptoms, complex emotions and the traumas and events from both this and other lifetimes.

Each of you has answers within you, you just need to be ready to ask the necessary questions, instead of dancing around an issue, try grabbing it like a tango dancer, embrace it, and take action. Your body and consciousness hold all of your memories— from the moment you first took birth, so use this, don’t fear or avoid your pain or symptoms, engage them, and allow healing to flow into your heart and mind.

Your body is like a great library and by asking questions that about  the symptom or emotion you are feeling, you can find answers. The question is the key and by asking it, you unlock the memories, emotions and scenarios from across time, from your childhood, from other lifetimes and even from when you were in the womb.

These memories will surface if you cultivate a mind that does not know, judge or fantasize. This is what Suzuki Roshi called a beginner’s mind. This kind of mind that is curious— free of expectations, and preconceived notions is essential, then the doors of deep healing can open.

The origins of your current struggles can become clear to you, and with compassionate discernment, you can discover the beliefs that hold these ancient memories and emotions in play. By doing this your symptoms and emotional states can deeply change.

So, take the plunge, this spring find the freedom you long for. Release the past that binds you once and for all. Understand the ancient histories embedded within, unwind them, and you can start fresh from this moment….. from this breath.
