Happy Year of the Hare!
Life is coming into sync as the solar energy of the traditional calendar and the lunar calendar finally align for the first time this year. The moon and sun, the male and female, the conscious and unconscious, the anima and animas come into communion within us and balance .
May each of you who reads this find new blessings flowing into your life .
I was talking to my students this past wk end about this Iron Tiger year that we have been in and how this has been affecting us energetically. Here is what I have noticed.
Years ago I had the chance to interact with tiger cubs and a big female white tiger at Albuquerque zoo. Tigers are known to live much of their lives alone, except to mate. The energy f these great cats is one of energy of isolation, patience and fierceness. These qualities have been a part of the energy dynamic this past year and we have seen it in action. Many of you may have felt isolated this past year. But there I good news!
On Feb 3 rd, Chinese New Year rings in and the year of the Iron Rabbit begins. Rabbits live in warrens are more social than tigers. My hope is that based on this energy change we will have a year of more cooperation and consensus.
Isolation is necessary to discern who we are and what is important to us. We need that quiet self- reflection. But we are a human family and we need to also step back into relationship to someone other than ourselves.
I hope this new year reawakens our sense of community as we move out of isolation. Let us find common ground again. Cooperation is key, with this, we can get things done and moving forward again. The energy is posed to help us do this.
The element iron is about grief and sorrow, as well as, being a weapon of war. As we move thru this iron cycle over the next 8 years we are encouraged to process our grief and examine the martial nature within our society and within ourselves. Letting go of our wounds and finding peace within ourselves will reflect back into society, of which we are a part.
Let’s find our community this coming year—- like minded people who love and support us. My wish is for each of you is to discovery your larger human family and your place in it.
My husband and I have been reading a set of books by Marion Zimmer Bradley, which feature the goddess and the ancient ways of the goddess. As I gazed at the full moon lunar eclipse that happened on the solstice this came to mind. First, I reflected on the fact that an eclipse like this had not happening in 372 years ago. It was remarkable to think back to how our ancestors might have felt seeing an eclipse like this one. And also to rteflect on how the world has changed over the centuries.
Personally as the moon went dark on the first day of the return of the light, I felt that the goddess was also returning, not in the old ways, but that she was reintegrating for the first time in centuries with the solar force of the sun.
This marriage is both powerful and necessary as we balance the forces of the sun and moon, the masculine and feminine , the anima and the animus within ourselves.
This is a a time of reintegration and renewal.
Use this time wisely, vision and dream of wholeness, both personally and collectively. Send out light to those you love and to those who challenge you. Salute them all for they are your teachers !

Pluto is sitting right with mercury til the winter solstice—–so intensity will be a watch word for this mercury retrograde.

HOPI PROPHECIES
“We have been telling people that this is the Eleventh hour. Now you must go back and tell them that this is the Hour.
And there are things to be considered:
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relationship?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time!
There is a river flowing now very fast.
It is so great and so swift that there are those that will be afraid.
They will try to hold on to the shore.
They will feel they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination.
The Elders say you must let go of the shore,
push off into the middle of the river,
keep our eyes open and our heads above water.
See who is there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves.
For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves.
Banish the word “struggle” from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we have been waiting for.”

This past few weeks has been very intense. A dear friend went into the hospital for cancer surgery, and happily the surgery went well and the doctor was exceptionally pleased. Being a very spiritual man and coming from equally devote family, prayers were sent into the heavens spinning light and healing and sending it to my dear friend from the moment we are heard he was sick.
I had sat in meditation doing prayers during the surgery, reassuring his body that it was okay, giving direction and sending love and healing with each breath. Each stitch the doctor stitched became a prayer.
But complications ensued. He hit a crisis point this past Monday and his dear wife called me in tears.
I spoke with my Tibetan teacher and asked that he pray for my friend. I called a fellow healer, who put him into her weekly pray circle, and along with them I went in . I talked to his organs and reignited the energy within his body, soothing and connecting frayed nerves as I spoke to each organ. And low and behold……. on Friday he was released from the hospital.
Prayer and the power words and energy have is so amazing. This energy from all of us helped turn the tide and move him onto a road of health and healing.
Love is so much a part of the healing process. It is essential! And our deep emotions can impart even more chi into mix.
So what am I grateful for this thanksgiving…….. for my dear friend’s healing and homecoming and for the power of love in the world and how it can heal …. anything!
I know this in my soul in my bones . Prayer can heal our bodies, minds and our world.

You have lived before the power of past life exploration and healing to change your relationships fears and physical symptoms in the present.
There is an intersection within your psyche where past and present meet. Memories from your past sometimes collide with your present and this intersection and symptoms form and relationships ignite not only with the history of the moment but with the weight of the past as well.
It is beneficial, necessary and imperative to go back to the beginning to understand the present. To find the original cause in order to understand what affects you in the present.
The moment of death carries with it great consequence when you are reincarnated or take birth again and the thoughts, beliefs, hopes, dreams and emotions from that moment are driven into your dying consciousness and move forward within your consciousness, often igniting old problems, fears and even physical symptoms.
This is why past life work and healing can be so evocative and deeply healing. Bringing these emotions to light is a task we must undertake if we are going heal deeply and to be free, free of the karma from our past. This type of healing allows you to let go of your past in the most profound way—.freeing up immense energy that has been stored with your memories and entangles by your emotions.
Clearing the way, by bringing pieces of your story and yourself back together gives you a sense of who you truly are within time and space. It enlarges your sense of who you are and it humbles you and empowers you, simultaneously.
Unwinding the energies from the past allows you to understand and complete relationship issues and resolve symptoms phobias and fears once and for all. It’s as simple as that. Freedom, peace, renewed direction, joy, and a sense of who you truly are —- are the essential gifts of this work.

I know that many of you have been drinking bottled and vended water perhaps from a long time. Did you know that bottled water has no more regulations that tap water and that many of the bottled waters are tap water that has been but thru a reverse osmosis system and stripped of the vital minerals that water conveys into our cells directly thru cellular osmosis?
I really think this is linked to the higher incidence of osteoporosis that we have been seeing recently, since we are not getting our minerals from the water when we drink bottles water.

2012 and beyond the gift of this time. Pluto in Capricorn deep change arising.
I was reading for someone recently who was asking about what to expect with 2012.
The following came through.
We are in a time of deep and abiding change and while it appears that we are fractured and broken at this time, this is only temporary. We are in a confluence of energies at this time that is a culmination of centuries of conflict and strife and while the old dies away, it may kick and scream in death throes.
We are moving towards a time of greater harmony and light. But we have to pass through the eye of the needle. There will be a unifying event, which will show us beyond a doubt that we are one people, one planet, one humanity. This event will be so alien to us it will both shock and awaken us and as a result our world and consciousness will be forever changed.
What will come out of this is a new form of governance -world wide that will be more inclusive and accepting. Old enemies will see each other in a new light and lay down their arms. Humanity will see itself as connected at long last.
We will have three hurdles in the coming years (2008-2024) of which we have experienced the first when the markets and business sectors faltered and fell. During this phase of time governments, business, banking and the structures we have grown up with will be altered in deep and transformative ways.
After the earthquake of 1989 in the SF Bay Area, while reading in Colorado at an yearly event, I remember many people being concerned that the predicted earth changes were upon us. Please understand that the earth is a evolving and conscious being and she is both wise and ancient.
She would never harm the people who reside here, but Pluto is the lord of death and transformation and there may be many who decide not to stay. Remember we are her ( the earths) heart and her emotional expression, so each of us has the opportunity to transform our deep emotional pain that Pluto will dredge up for us, so we can see it in the light of day. This is the gift of this time.
Historically the last time Pluto was in Capricorn was when this young nation was forming. Like then, freedom, liberty and revolution will be apart of this transition and there may be energies that will impinge upon our liberties and freedom but then as now truth will win out. Pluto will have it no other way.
Similarities between American revolution and 2010 pluto in capricorn an opportunity for change
You may not know this, but I am a daughter of the American revolution. My family and ancestors fought for freedom, freedom of religion, freedom from taxation without representation and we fought for our right to express ourselves freely and be happy. Abagail Adams was a Smith and Martha Washington’s sister married a Bassett. Both are my family names.
You might be wondering why am I writing about this odd bit of personal history when I usually write about healing and transformational change.
First, I want to share that Pluto is in Capricorn, many of you may know this but did you know that the last time Pluto was in Capricorn ( that rules government and business) was during the founding of this country and the American revolution.
Like now, there were basically 2 distinct party lines of thought, one for a centralized government ( Hamilton and Adams) and the other for more states rights (Jefferson & Madison). Then like now these forces pulled at each other in bitter and divisive infights that nearly destroyed our fledgling democracy.
What is so frustrating for me is that we are doing it all over again. I realize that people are reactionary and in reactive states much of the time but we have a opportunity to change this. To move from reaction to response!
Decades ago, when I taught as a substitute teacher even my kindergarteners knew how to cooperate and get along better than the factionalized wings of political groups we see expousing their truth on talk shows and in the halls of government. Why all the hate when what we need is cooperation.
So let”s take this opportunity and say no to extremes, to the tea party movement (who I know that my ancestors would rolling in their graves to hear this name used this way ) and to the factionalism that they preach and that is eroding any political goodwill and hope we once possessed.
We have an opportunity to move to another level, to a higher octave of this Pluto in Capricorn energy that is so relevant right now. We can rise above this kind of divisive politics.
We must remember our commonality.
This commonality is key. We are all human beings, first. We all suffer and wish to be happy. This is what links us all together!
We can all practice more openness and compassion and reach out our hands to one another in kindness instead of anger. I am not saying that we have to deny that we are mad as hell about what is going on in the world but we have to at least try to soften our hearts and temper our anger with intelligence and open the conversation beyond the sound of our own voice.
This is where we have gone wrong I’m afraid…. we are not talking to each other we’re just flinging shit at each other, which accomplishes nothing. As the political season ramps up ask yourself , can I hold the and instead of the or in my heart? Can both positions exist simultaneously? My hope is yes . So the dialogue can begin not just sound bites ( that the masses latch onto ) but real discussion.
So I want everyone to take a deep breath, to move out of reaction and into a place of equanimity because if we don’t start matters will only get worse. I do not want to lose this precious democracy.
Let’s embrace our diversity and find a new path to move forward on. Please, please, please.

Pluto in Capricorn will strip down and expose all forms of corruption and abuse of power. It is the nature of Pluto to illuminate the shadow and Pluto will be in Capricorn that rules the sector of business, government, banking and finance. we have already seen this. And we have a choice and opportunity at this time. Government and politics will change during this process. We can move towards a new wholism like never before and heal this realm where there has been so much tit for tat for way too long. Pluto is fierce and it is relentless but it wants truth above all things.
